Meet the team

Danielle Brockman

Speech Pathologist

Danielle Brockman, the co-founder of Therapy Services Australia, is an experienced Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who is passionate about providing neurodiversity – affirming therapy supports to her clients. She has a broad range of experience, particularly around supporting emergent and complex communicators to access robust communication systems (AAC).

Prior to being a Speech Pathologist, Danielle was an Enrolled Nurse working in hospitals and residential aged care facilities across Perth, Western Australia (WA). She then retrained in 2010 and has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Speech Pathology) with First Class Honours. Danielle has been working as a Speech Pathologist in the disability community and the Education Department of WA since 2016, providing support around AAC, articulation and speech clarity, language, fluency, mealtime management (dysphagia), literacy, and social communication. She strongly believes in “connection before compliance” and communication autonomy. She is a strong advocate for ensuring everyone has access to robust communication systems.

Taryn Tarasenko

Occupational Therapist

Taryn Tarasenko, the co-founder of Therapy Services Australia, is driven by her passion for delivering exceptional therapy services.

Taryn holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) and offers comprehensive OT services to individuals with diverse abilities. With 23 years of experience, Taryn has worked in Western Australia, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory in private, clinical and community settings.

Taryn is passionate about helping others to achieve their potential and provides a caring person-centred approach. Taryn is committed to providing high quality evidence-based care to her clients and provides professional independent recommendations leading to positive outcomes.

Kelly Ruland

Occupational Therapist

Kelly Ruland is a registered Occupational Therapist who graduated from Oxford Brookes University in the UK in 2007. She moved to Western Australia in 2008 and has 15 years experience in clinical, aged care and community environments. Kelly provides generalist OT services to individuals with diverse abilities. Emphasising the importance of personalised care, she firmly believes in tailoring assessments and therapy to align with each person’s distinct goals and needs. With her person-centred approach, Kelly consistently achieves meaningful outcomes for her clients.

Jacqueline Phegan

Speech Pathologist

Jacquie is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She completed a Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion, Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Bachelor of Speech Pathology. After graduating, she practiced in the community, providing a mobile assessment and intervention service to support NDIS participants to reach their speech, language, literacy, and social communication goals. Jacquie enjoys working collaboratively with neurodiverse preschool age, school age, adolescent and young adult clients and their support network to set and achieve their goals.

Sreya Chakrabarti

Speech Pathologist

Sreya is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who has worked across hospital, school, telehealth, and clinic settings, delivering high-quality intervention to individuals across the lifespan. Sreya has a special interest in working with individuals in the areas of mental health, voice, fluency, and social skills using neuro-affirming approaches. Sreya prioritises delivering functional, personalised outcomes through a strong therapeutic alliance forged through connection and trust. In her spare time, Sreya enjoys photography, cooking, spending time with her pets, and playing video games.

Loot Majiet

Speech Pathologist

Loot is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree (Speech Pathology Honours) in 2023. He has a special interest in early intervention, language, literacy, articulation, and phonology for pre-school and school-aged children. He is deeply committed to providing effective and personalised evidence-based therapy, to ensure growth and development of each child under his care. Loot is passionate about creating a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Loot values collaboration with parents and caregivers, extending support for their child’s communication development beyond therapy sessions.

Rose Croasdale

Speech Pathologist

Rose is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and has a wealth of experience delivering evidence-based language and literacy intervention. She has a strong understanding of the latest research and is trained in ‘talk for writing’, Sounds-Write and LETRS literacy programs. She loves exploring different techniques to get her clients excited about words, weaving stories and knows how to make literacy ‘click’ for everyone, especially those with diverse learning styles. She is passionate about customising therapy approaches to suit each person’s unique needs, ensuring that everyone can achieve their personal goals. Rose brings to the team an understanding of how complicated everyday life can be and a wide range of life skills, having grown up in a rural town and enjoying a previous career in the maritime industry. She keeps busy at home with three rowdy boys where you will usually find her in the quiet solace of her garden.

Courtney Farrell

Administration Assistant

Courtney joins the team at Therapy Services Australia in an Administrator role. Courtney has previously worked in the dental industry and has been working as a support carer in the disability sector for the past three years. She is looking forward to supporting the team, of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, in an organisational capacity. Courtney will be there to help you with any admin enquiries that you may have. When Courtney is not working with Therapy Solutions you will usually find her at the beach or on the water with her family.
